APPAREL DESIGN

AT MADEWELL

During my six years at Madewell, I gained valuable insights into the apparel industry and developed a diverse skill set. I believe the key to success in apparel design is understanding your customer and curating a collection that embraces innovation—not just following trends—but also ensuring that the pieces are practical and wearable for everyday life.

Here are some snippets of my designs. For more, be sure to visit the denim section on the Madewell website.

DENIM DRESSING

At Madewell, my role was to ensure our girl had access to stylish and eye-catching pieces that paired perfectly with her Madewell jeans.

These pieces were part of our Summer 2024 collection! The ruffle neckline of the first tank added a feminine touch, while the button front kept it effortlessly casual for everyday wear. Additionally, this vest was a bestseller, so I designed it in a lighter wash that's perfect for the summer months.

I created a modern take on the classic bomber jacket, maintaining its iconic silhouette while introducing a playful twist with striped ribbed elastic cuffs, hem, and neckband.
